This pietersite ring make a big statement!
The triangular shaped cabochon stone is bezel set in fine silver, on a wide band of sterling silver. The triangle sits fairly low on the hand, so while this is a large ring, it's comfortable enough for everyday wear.
What is pietersite?
Pietersite is a rare dark gray or reddish breccia aggregate. Pietersite can be identified by its distinctive chaotic chatoyancy, caused by brecciated crocidolite inclusions, which appear as golden swirls. Pietersite may have dense or sparse crocidolite inclusions, resulting in a differing appearance. Therefore, it could appear mostly gray-blue, orangey-brown, or an equal mixture of the two.
I love this stone for the range of colours and the character each piece has.
This one of a kind ring is a size 6.5 and cannot be sized.
