The dragonfly often represents change, transformation and adaptability. A dragonfly spends most of its life in the nymph stage, taking up to 4 years to develop into a dragonfly. The complex iridescent colour and the impossibly intricate cell pattern in the glass-like wings are one of the wonders of nature.
This gorgeous creature is made from copper, with silver accents. The body is hand carved and riveted to the detailed wings. The finish is hand painted in artist's wax, and sealed to preserve the colours.
